The stitch suit is what people who are stitching into other people's minds have to wear in the process. It is composed of a mesh polyester fiber coated in zinc-blackened nickel over copper. It makes for a better connection between the stitcher's skin and the lab's sensors, an idea formulated by Linus Ahluwalia, an expert in bio-electrical engineering and communications. It was worn by Kirsten Clark and Marta Rodriguez, and was given the "Catwoman Suit" nickname by Kirsten.
The stitch suit 2.0 is the upgrade of the Stitch Suit first introduced in the episode, 2.0. Following Marta's accident, this upgraded model suit was designed and was undergoing prototyping. It is constructed from the same zinc-blackened nickel over copper material, but reinforced with padding and Kevlar panels. While offering no practical physical benefits to the wearer when undergoing a stitch, it offers a psychological boost due to it being made to make its user feel "slighly badass" and stronger, and therefore causing them to act stronger while within the stitch, and also to better defend against the resultant emotional accompaniment that stitchers often experience.
